Tim Leong is a Senior Maritime Projects Administrator at the Port of Oakland. He’s been at the Port for over 25 years. He has worked on countless Seaport environmental and development projects over the years, including terminal and railyard redevelopment, heavy-duty truck EV charging, substation upgrades, and shore power (plugging in container vessels). Currently, he spearheads many of the Port’s zero-emission, hydrogen, and electrification projects at the Seaport, and equally important, the state and federal grant funding to support these projects. He has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Davis.
